Asaluyeh Zone has been located in east of Bushehr Province on coast of Persian
Gulf with 300 km distance from Bushehr in east of the city and with 440 km
distance from Bandar Length and in its west. Its distance from Bandar Abbas is
570 km. The Zone's distance from South Pars Gas Field, located offshore Persian
Gulf, is about 105 km. The situation of the Zone is unique and some of its
features are: it has the shortest distance from South Pars Gas Filed, the
existence of Persian Gulf international airport, direct access to open seas,
suitable water depth in the coastal areas, the enjoyment of infrastructure
network and connectivity to the critical paths of the region, the accessibility
of the potential labor population in the neighboring urban and rural districts,
the green environment and pleasant sights all are among the potential privileges
of the region.

The draught of the dock has been calculated taking into account the tide. The
depth of the water in deck and channel entrance is 20 m. Due to cassion nature
of jetties No. 1 & 2, they are capable to load and unload the heavy goods with
more than 1,000 MT weight.
