Daryabandar Line Marine and Shipping Services Company was established on December 10th, 2000 with 845 million rials initial capital divided into 84500 shares of 10,000 Rials each and was registered under number 171133 by the Corporation Registry of Tehran and commenced its activities from March 2001. On the basis of approval of the extraordinary general meeting of the Company, held on May 20th, 2006, the type of the company was changed from Joint Stock Company to Public Corporation and the par value of shares of the company was decreased to 1,000 Rials. In addition, the new articles of association containing 78 articles and 14 notes were approved and the old one was replaced with this. Darya Bandar Line is one of subsidiaries of Tidewater Middle East.

Activities:

The scope of activities of the company, as outlined under Article (3) of the articles of association of the company is as follows: To carry out any and all marine services acting as agent to the local or foreign shipping lines, to render loading, goods strip and stuffing services, to carry out marine transportation of cargo and passenger, to export and import all needed machinery, spares, and the relevant engineering services; to purchase and acquire the shares of other companies and investees and / or to enter into a participation arrangement with local or foreign companies which may be essential for development and extension of the company; to repair and overhaul all vessels and port equipment; to carry out the customs release of different goods in ports and customs; to provide the related consulting services; and to purchase and sale of vessels.

The company has continuously expanded its scope of activities since establishment and seeks new ways for better service provision in harmony with needs of the ship owners and ship masters. A part of the company's activities in Persian Gulf and Caspian Sea is transportation of cargos by use of owned or leased vessels with different capacities. In addition, the company is capable to offer in land rail or road transportation services.

Darya Bandar Line Company is one of innovators of goods loading and unloading system which improves its capabilities on the basis of customers' demand. The company offers different and diverse loading and unloading services for all kind of goods and cargo applying safe and integrate operations together with goods packing and warehousing in all major and important ports of the country. The Company's loading and unloading system is equipped with a comprehensive and extensive network covering all ports and provides transportation services in all ports.

Establishment of Connecting Shipping Line for Container Transportation:

Since 2000, Darya Bandar Line Company has established a shipping line which connects the northern and southern ports of the Persian Gulf. The company has close relations with ship charter parties and some container shipping lines.
